Newcastle upon Tyne Bach Choir is delighted to announce the launch of a student composition competition, open to all higher education students in the North East of England in the academic year 25/26.
The choir are seeking an unpublished original work written for SATB and no longer than 5 minutes.

Submit your score to competition@newcastlebachchoir.org.uk by Friday 17 October 2025. The winning composer will win £400 and the chance for the work to be performed at the choir’s Christmas concert in December.
